R-32
R-32 is a low-GWP refrigerant that enhances energy efficiency and cooling performance in residential and commercial AC systems.

What is R-32?
R-32 is a hydrofluorocarbon (HFC) refrigerant and one of the main components of R-410A and several newer hydrofluoroolefin (HFO) blends. Known for its low global warming potential (GWP) and high energy efficiency, it is widely used in residential and commercial air conditioning systems due to its superior heat transfer properties and reduced refrigerant charge requirements compared to older alternatives.
R-32 is compatible with polyolester (POE) lubricants and operates at higher pressures, making it essential for modern, environmentally conscious cooling solutions. While it has a mild flammability rating (A2L classification), R-32 remains a preferred choice for manufacturers looking to reduce emissions and enhance system performance.
Important Note

Key Properties of R-507
Low Boiling Point
Boils at (1 atm, °F): -61.0, making it efficient for residential and commercial air conditioning applications.
Similar Pressure Operation
Operates at slightly higher pressures than R-410, but can only operate in R-32 designed systems.
Improved Energy Efficiency
Offers better energy efficiency compared to older refrigerants like R-410A, but it is slightly flammable.
Zero Ozone Depletion
Has an Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP) of 0, making it safer for the environment.
Global Warming Potential
Has a GWP of 677, which is significant but much lower than most alternatives.
Mildly Flammable
Classified as A2L (low toxicity, mildly flammable) by ASHRAE.
